Loneliness and Isolation

Being a fifo worker, can sometimes make you feel lonely or have a feeling of isolation from other people around you. Feeling lonely or isolated can have a negative impact on your mental health. Some reasons you might feel lonely or isolated include:
- Living alone
- Working long hours
- Fatigue
- lacking close family around you
- living away from home (homesick)
- feeling shy
- finding it difficult to ft in
- feeling stressed
- being bullied
- going through a breakup
- feeling sad
- negative feelings such as feeling hopelessness or worthlessness
- Having mental health issues

- connecting and talking to family and friends
- Exercise

- Listen to music
