Acknowledgements

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which mining and resource industries operate in WA. We pay our respect to their Elders, past and present.

Dedication

Rhys Conner was interviewed for This FIFO Life and generously shared his experiences as a FIFO worker in the construction industry.

Tragically, on 25th July 2013 Rhys took his own life. He was 25 and a much loved father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. Rhys’ death is a stark reminder of the importance of looking after ourselves and our workmates.
